...outlook for a good nine this year at Princeton is very good. The candidates began training last Monday in the gymnasium, and although a very large number did not present themselves, the material is very promising. In Mercer Hall a good substitute has been found for the cage, which was destroyed last year. Although Mercer Hall is rather small, it is much better than the old cage in the gymnasium, and as it is out of the question to rebuild the cage this winter, Mercer Hall will have to suffice. ...business and social meeting of the Banjo Club was held Monday evening. Permission has been granted the club to take part in the minstrels to be given by the Independent Corps of Cadets, Feb. 13 and 14, and the club has set about procuring uniforms for the occasion.
