...also like Dali, the depicted objects could not exist, they defy physics. (Kong's muscles couldn't support the mass of his skeletal structure - or was it that his bones couldn't support his musculature? I can't remember which, but it's a major health issue in big monster circles.) The matte paintings, which I believe to be the uncredited work of Henri Hillinck, fill the frames of "Kong" and are the primary source of the fabulous vistas...
