...endless procession of ponderous lines loaded with unsubtle metaphysical overtones. The story and even the identity of some of the characters remain pretty much in the dark. The dialogue, such as it is, is so poorly organized that each scene can produce little more than confusion. Only when Morel belatedly reveals his remarkable invention, does everything make a fuzzy sort of sense...
