...Paramount logo dissolves into some kind of mountain. Every Indy films opens this way, from one monument to another. (As Veronica Geng wrote in a review of the first movie, "Spielberg" is German for "play mountain.") In Raiders the logo became a mountain in South America; in the second film, Temple of Doom, a bas-relief on a Chinese gong; in The Last Crusade a big boulder in Utah. This time, suggesting more modest aspirations, or maybe kiddingly deflecting the audience's gargantuan expectations, it's a weeny prairie dog hill, from which a critter emerges just before being nearly...
MUSIC MAN A talking sheep named Rufus Leaking, a hot band and a crowd of kids jumping around onstage are the key ingredients of Pancake Mountain, one of the most energetic--and certainly one of the hippest--kids' shows on the planet. The ingredients are basic, but it took Washington-based Scott Stuckey, 44, and a group of volunteers to make a hit out of them...

Stuckey is in talks with a number of them, however, and optimistic a deal will come. No word yet on how the nets feel about the cereal thing...
...some people in mountain villages cut off by the quake, waiting wasn't an option. Some hiked out on their own. The roads to Bu Xiaoyan's village of Gaochuan were blocked, so she left her husband, the principal of the local school, and set off across the mountains. "It took me seven hours to walk out," the 29-year-old mother said. Now she is hitchhiking through the disaster zone to find her daughter, who was attending school in another town...
