Reverting to prose: J. S. Watson, Jr., in a resume of Professor Muensterberg's book misplaces his emphasis in dwelling on points which he finds extravagant. If the book be for the most part "sane," why not convey that impression? "The Spirit of Satire" is better; it exemplifies the serious prose which befits a magazine with intellectual readers. Still, one should, not begin with Greeks and end with grunts. For R. W. ...officially announced that, at the instance of the Corporation Professor Muensterberg has withdrawn his resignation, and that the University cannot tolerate any suggestion that it would be willing to accept money to abridge free speech, to remove a professor, or to accept his resignation...

The decisive action of the Corporation in refusing to accept Major Weiner's offer was the first which has been officially taken in the matter...

Little notice need be paid the proposal itself. Whether genuine or not, that it should even have been published is sufficient cause for regret and contempt. On the other hand, the opinion may gain strength in some quarters that the fact...
...Psychology and Social Sanity," the closing link in the chain of Professor Muensterberg's popular books dealing with the application of modern psychology to the practical tasks of life, has recently been put on sale. It treats of social and sex problems; the national jury system; advertising, investment, and agricultural efficiency; and gives attention in a broad way to several other topics of popular interest...
