With Fitzgerald and Benjamin out, Mark Mullin and Ralph Perry will carry the Crimson's faint hopes today. Mullin ran a good 25:41 for five miles in taking sixth against Yale and Princeton last week, but he must do even better to figure in the Heps. The steady Perry finished eighth a week ago, and he will probably show up among the top dozen finishers again this afternoon...

Still, the Tigers made a better showing than the varsity. Only Mark Mullin really came through for the Crimson, and even he finished sixth, in the time of 25:41. Ralph Perry and Jack Benjamin did fairly well, taking ninth and 10th, and Wes Hildreth came in 11th. Captain Eddie Martin, fighting the effects of a persistent heel ailment, could do no better than 14th, but at least he entered the official scoring for the first time this season...

Yale poses an impressive challenge, however. The Bulldogs' two front-runners, John Blake and the great Tommy Carroll, have both run better times than Mullin. These two have accounted for the undefeated Elis' victory margins most of the season, although John Morrison, Tom Cathcart, and Bill Cherryholmes have done well also...
