Died. Edouard Daladier, 86, thrice Premier of France in the years from 1933 to 1940, and last surviving signer of the infamous Munich Agreement; of kidney disease; in Paris. After signing the agreement in 1938 with Chamberlain, Mussolini and Hitler, Daladier rationalized: "Should 15 million Europeans have been killed in order to oblige 3,000,000 Sudetens who wished to be German to remain in Czechoslovakia?"
