Died. Margaret Munnerlyn Mitchell Marsh, 49, author of the bestselling novel Gone With the Wind; of injuries suffered when she was run down by an automobile; in Atlanta. A onetime reporter for the Atlanta Journal (1922-26), diminutive (4 ft. 11 in.) Margaret Mitchell, bedridden and later on crutches after an accident in 1926, was prompted by husband John Marsh to write a novel instead of straining her eyes reading them.
