Professor Munsterberg's new book which recently appeared in Leipzig, Germany, and has just reached Cambridge, is called "Grundzuege der Psychologie". The work discusses the general principles which underlie the study of the mind. It is, as the preface says, a philosophical effort to harmonize in a systematic way the positivistic and the idealistic aspects of mental life; a synthesis between physiological psychology and morality.
