SENTENCED. LARRY NEVERS, 53, and WALTER BUDZYN, 47, white former police officers; for their second-degree murder convictions in the beating death of black motorist Malice Green; in Detroit. Green died of injuries from hammer- like blows delivered by heavy metal flashlights.
