Keppel, head of Columbia College, in his annual report to President Nicholas Murray Butler, just made public, sees in the rapid growth of the university's registration an approach to the limits of the university's capacity. He suggests that more severe requirements be demanded for admission to Columbia, and that greater restrictions be put upon students who are inclined to slide through the last two years on easy courses...
