Several rare first editions of Dryden's works from the Pearson Sale in London: "Astera Redux," 1660; "MacFlecknot," 1682; "Alexander's Feast," 1697; "Three Poems upon the Death of Oliver, Lord Protector of England," by Edmund Waller, John Dryden and Mr. Sprat and "Lachrymal Musarum," 1650; were recently presented to the University by A.
