Only the largely Muslim nations that hold the Kurds captive can solve the so-called Kurdish question. A solution will have to be imposed upon these nations. Respect for the welfare of humankind dictates that finding a place for the Kurdish people--the most outrageous example of denied sovereignty--not be left to those countries that are least capable of doing so.
