...Fugitive (CBS, 8 p.m.) Is it just me, or is seeing Tim Daly's glowering face in the ads for this remake - that's Tim Daly from "Wings" - kind of like seeing Danny DeVito as Napoleon on all those billboards in the movie "Get Shorty"? Daly may not be a natural action hero as Dr. Richard Kimble, but Mykelti Williamson at least makes a commanding Lt. Gerard. This is a competent, movielike action hour - nothing more, nothing less - that owes far more to the explosive Tommy Lee Jones movie than to the often menacing, noir-y 1960s ABC series...
...Mexico, this process took an absurd turn when an Austrian archduke was installed as Emperor of Mexico by the French forces of Napoleon III. After defeating the Habsburg Emperor, local conservatives argued that the hero of the résistance, Benito Juárez, concentrated too much power. So, they brought the army general to the foreground. The biggest perk of the two required papers is that students have enormous freedom: you can analyze Napoleon Dynamite, a teen self-help book, or even your experience observing resumé-padding high school kids working at a soup kitchen. Don't bank on an easy A, though, for despite the "duh, I already knew that" appearance of the course material, the tests are challenging and the TFs hold...
...Venezuelan prison in 1985, he went to El Salvador, where he reunited with the CIA. He went to work assisting Oliver North in providing the Nicaraguan Contras with weapons and supplies. After his involvement in the Iran-Contra Affair, Posada worked as a spy for then Salvadoran President Jose Napoleon Duarte. The court documents indicate Posada traveled around the Americas on false passports and that his line of work could be life-threatening. During a brief stint in Guatemala in 1990, he became the target of an assassination attempt and was shot several times in the face and torso...
