Phillips Andover Academy defeated Phillips Exeter on Saturday at Exeter, by a score of 28 to 0. Exeter's defense was weak, the line, with the exception of the ends, playing much too high. The only time that Exeter came near scoring was when the first half closed with the ball in Exeter's possession on her opponent's 1-yard line. The Andover backs gained almost at will, and the whole team helped the man with the ball effectively. Hobbs. Andover's captain and left tackle, played a brilliant game, making long gains on tackle back formations...

Both teams were forcesd to punt frequently and although Burr's kicks were about equal to Sheble's in length, the Pennsylvania ends were faster in getting down the field and thus gave their team the advantage on nearly every exchange. As soon as Parker was taken out it became evident that Harvard's weak places were the three centre positions. Captain Torrey played a hard game against White and opened up holes for the tackle and guard-back plays on both sides of centre, besides breaking through and blocking many plays behind the line. Burr's punting hardly compensated...

Dalhousie then braced and scored another touchdown, but interference was claimed and a scrimmage was allowed on Halifax's 5-yard line. The ball was heeled out and passed to the three-quarter back, who kicked a clean goal. Time was then called. Score: Dalhousie, 7: Halifax, 3. Secret practice will be held again this...

Captain Hurley was in the line-up throughout the first half. He played a very fast game and put a great deal of snap into the rest of the team. Near the end of the first half he made a 35-yard run on the kick-off, following excellent interference. Leonard made the second touchdown by an 80-yard run, on which he used his hands to good effect and did some clever dodging. Snyder, who is being tried at end, made some clean, open tackles. He and O'Brien were changed from the second to the first eleven...
