Professor W. M. Davis will conduct a geological excursion during the april recess to the abandoned glacial-marginal river channels, "temporary Niagaras," near Syracuse, N. Y. The party will leave Boston at 10.45 A. M., Monday April 18. reaching Syracuse at 7.40 P. M. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be spent near Syracuse, returning to Boston Thursday evening.
