Teacher from Cornell. George Frederick Warren, 59, Professor of Farm Management and Agricultural Economics at the New York State College of Agriculture at Cornell, is an economist close to the soil. As a boy he herded sheep on his native farm in Clay County, Neb. After his degree from the University of Nebraska and postgraduate study at Cornell he settled down in Ithaca in 1906 as an assistant professor in the Agricultural College and as operator of his own 500-acre farm close by.
