Until this year all of the scholarships offered by Harvard College have brought with them pecuniary aid and have been intended chiefly for men who were in need of such aid. Heretofore there has been no such distinction as a scholarship for a man whowas not in need of money. ...changes in University Hall, proposed by President Eliot in his report last year, will probably be carried out this summer. President Eliot called attention to the need of a larger room for Faculty meetings, and proposed that the old University Hall chapel be restored for this purpose.
