Much building is in evidence in the neighborhood of the Yale School of Medicine and the New Haven Hospital as a result of the progress made in the development of the Human Welfare Group. The financial program of the group at its formation in February called for $15, 500,000, of which $6,000,000 remains to be obtained. One of the units, the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Pavilion for Children, will be ready for occupancy about Christmas time.
