...column is a prime example of why liberals get such bad press. It's utter nonsense to posit that being black or being privy to the African-American experience somehow endows Freeman or Jones with voice-of-God (VOG) vocal cords. Their riveting vocal abilities are not racially based. NFL commentators have had the VOG sound, as did the late movie-trailer announcer Don LaFontaine and Robert Mitchum on the "Beef: It's What's for Dinner" TV spots. Those guys were white.
