...Daddy" record seemed to augur for him, he lost many of his outstanding men and finally parted company with his partner, the drummer Ray McKinley, who now has his own band. I, heard the revamped Bradley group on the air a few nights, ago, and found it a nice, pleasant orchestra, not greatly different from a bevy of other orchestras. They didn't play much jazz that night, but their numbers were delivered smoothly. I doubt if Adams House will go hog-wild over them, but as I have observed before, the orchestra isn't everything at a House dance...
