West Point defeated Annapolis in football Saturday on Franklin Field, Philadelphia, by a score of 40 to 5, this being the fifth game that West Point has won out of nine that have been played between the two academies. Mitchell punted out; Nichols ran the ball back sixteen yards to Harvard's 39-yard line, and on the next play punted to Yale's 38-yard line. Yale was unable to make first down and Marshall ran back Mitchell's punt nine yards. After four yards more around Rafferty, Harvard punted again to Yale's 40-yard line. Charles Andrew Shea '04, left tackle, was prepared at Hopkinson's School. While there he played guard on the football team and first base and pitches on the baseball nine. He was right guard on his Freshman eleven and substitute on the University team two years go. Last year he was regular left tackle on the eleven.
