Refrigerators. The War Production Board handed out priorities to nine companies to make 227,709 refrigerators, 155,797 washing machines, in the third quarter of this year. WPB expects to grant more priorities in the next Jew weeks to bring total third-quarter production of refrigerators to 265,000, total washing machines to 350,000.
