...Chicago Field Museum is trying to depict the races of mankind to the best of modern belief (TIME, Oct. 5), why do they depict the typical Nordic male as a bulge-muscled athlete. There is another statue in existence, taken from measurements of typical Americans, which shows the Nordic male in his slump-shouldered, pot-bellied self.
