...MARQUIS DE SADE should be alive today. DePalma and DeSade would make a brilliant director-screenwriter team. In Brian DePalma's latest thriller, The Fury, Fiona Lewis plays a high-class, whorish British bitch-doctor whose titillating, condescending blue eyes make you want to punch her in the nose. Hitchcock would have let Cary Grant do just that--assuming that we in the audience are all voyeurs--and in his later days would have sent her to his legendary shower. ...Tiegs, her hair piled and pinned with a flower, sits as Makeup Man Way Bandy, an old friend, dips his fingers into tiny pots of color and touches up her face. What he achieves is a stronger version of Cheryl: the wide eyes more enormous, cheekbones more prominent, the nose a more perfect narrow line. "The only thing you have to be careful with is her lips," says Bandy. "They're thin, and she doesn't like a definite line or a lot of color...

...Mike Wilhite, Jeff Combs and Elmer Love," Penders said. Penders flew out to the coast to persuade Love to come to Morningside Heights over Stanford. Love, however, decided to take this year off, and back-up center Ed Shockley also left the team--to turn campus playwright--breaking his nose in practice...
