Since its last game the University team has improved considerably, not only in team-play but in individual handling of the puck and stick-work. Phillips' return will strengthen the line and Wylde's broken nose will not prevent him from playing, so that the University will meet the Canadians with practically a regular line-up, as far as that has been determined to date. The forward line is both fast and accurate and with occasional exceptions, plays well together. The defence is unusually strong and the team in general is in very good condition for the game...

Doty, at coverpoint on Team B, played a fast, aggressive game, the work of the defense on both teams being excellent. Townsend's stick-work and shooting were unusually good. Wylde, in spite of a broken nose, was back at goal and played a consistent game. The stick-work of the players had improved since last week and by the time of the game with Queen's College tomorrow night the team should be working smoothly...
...Friday, teams A and B had a brisk, hard-fought scrimmage in which both sevens showed to advantage. Wylde received a broken nose which may keep him out of the game for a few days, Stanton taking his place. Curtis returned to the line-up and played a hard and consistent game.
