Contents of said note as follows: "He is dark, very dark, and the handsomest fellow you ever saw. You can't mistake him. ...Crimson can account for the continued absence of this department only by a press of other matter momentarily, at least, more important. But for the future it hopes to note very regularly the sayings and doings of other colleges, incited thereto mainly by "Ephraim's" sensible suggestions as to the scope and office of the college press. In some respects, indeed, the Intercollegiate Press Association (to name something which never existed) might have proved a decided benefit. But the college editor, it must be remembered, has but a limited time at his disposal for the duties of his office...

We hope these lectures may be largely attended, since it can hardly be said that Harvard men at present excel in this department.
