...Pleasures of Paddling Re "Floating Your Own Boat," about the rise in the popularity of kayaking [Nov. 5]: In 2005 my son asked me if I wanted to look at kayaks with him. I went with him, took a kayak for a trial ride and bought it immediately. I can't adequately describe the pleasure of paddling on lakes, rivers and bays.
