Thomas Savage Bowles '12, of Boston, died of pneumonia in Nuremberg, Germany, on August 14. His death came as a great shock to his friends as his entire illness lasted but a week. He had been traveling abroad during the vacation and had been in good health throughout the trip. The sickness was a result of exposure during mountain-climbing in Switzerland.
