...WONDERS WHY THE FEDS NEED ALL that land--like 93% of Nye County, the third largest county in the U.S.? Seems to me that with the federal deficit as large as it is, lots of federally owned land could be sold off to developers and other private enterprises. Then Nye County's 20,000 inhabitants could have the company of migrating Texans, Californians and others.
