Harvard defeated the Brown University football team last Saturday by the score of 6 to 2. During the first half the teams seemed fairly well matched, and neither was able to obtain any distinct advantage, but in the second half the University team had no trouble in gaining through the Brown line, and played a much superior game. Although 809 caps, capes and torches have already been sold for the parade tomorrow night, the Republican Club has ordered 75 more, in order to give everyone a chance to obtain them. They will be on sale today between 2.30 and 6 o'clock from the windows of Holworthy 9 at $1.00 for each outfit. Arrangements have been made with the grocery stores in Cambridge whereby they have agreed to furnish kerosene for use in the torches at a nominal sum.
