John J. Conway, Master of Leverett House, said that he would soon be able to liquidate his "barracks" as students are allowed to take rooms off-campus. He plans no further conversion of rooms, although he now has "about 10 people" over capacity. John M. ...Bunting effected some changes immediately. For the first time, a substantial amount of money became available for the undergraduates to use "to enrich College life." A $5,000 gift from Harvard, supplemented by donations from Radcliffe alumnae, went into the new President's Fund last Fall. Every dorm and off-campus house received $1 per resident to spend as the majority wished.
