...haven't looked at Baker Hall bulletin board recently, a few dates may be news to you: Monday, July 19 to Wednesday, July 21, mid-term exams; Friday, September 10, last day of classes for this semester; Saturday, September 11 to Monday, the 13th, reading period; and good ol' final exams from Tuesday, September 14 to Tuesday the 21st, excluding Saturday and Sunday. It'll be a long, drawn out affair this time, but maybe a little less pressing as a result. ...Good to Hear Department: Good ol' Seth Grey is back to stay, Midshipman visor cap and all. We hope he gets a break on Judgment Day, because he's been through a lot more than any of us, and has taken it like an officer. Also, Warren Had's pop is better, and that flying trip to Pennsylvania wasn't necessary after all. We're glad to see that Wes Songer refuses to pick up pennies with his crutches. Try him with a half dollar some time. Who ever said swimming was a safe sport...

Ramsey is the other star of the W & M outfit. In the ol' South they are saying in their best johnny-cake, corn whiskey accents, "Hahvuhd can have Peabody. We'll take Ramsey any day." The bad thing about it that "they" might be right, as good as Peabody was, for Ramsey blocks and tackles like fiend and was picked on every All-Southern team in the books last year...
