Eighteen men met last night to consider the advisability of forming a lacrosse club. H. A. Leighton Gr., was elected chairman, and several old lacrosse players spoke of the value and pleasure of lacrosse as a sport and as a form of exercise. Sixty - nine men are now rowing every afternoon with the freshman crew squad. The men use the new rowing weights, which have lately been placed in the rowing room of the Gymnasium. Unlike the old weights, these new ones work on the principle of pressure against glycerine. They are more easily regulated and cared for than the old machines...
