When Mrs. Henry Ford was an apple-cheeked Michigan farm girl named Clara Bryant, she used to go on Sunday mornings to St. Paul's Memorial Episcopal Church in Detroit, accompanied by her grandfather who stoked the church fires, dusted the pews.
