Beyond teaching and hiring concerns, the OUE claims preregistration can cure a number of other academic woes, but these claims are unfounded. The first is improved undergraduate advising. The rushed, obligatory conversations just prior to Study Card day are poor excuses for the advice and guidance that ought to be integral to Harvard advising.
