The argument given was that the Varsity was going to lose some valuable players at the end of this year, and that the coaches would then have to draw from the House teams for next year's Varsity...

President Roosevelt several years following graduation spoke of the "spirit" on the paper and feared that this important feature of the CRIMSON would vanish when the location was changed from Mass. Ave. quarters to the Union.
