There is good skating today on the Cambridge Skating Club rink, First Street Play-ground at South Boston, Wood Island Pond at East Boston, Neponset Play-ground, Charlesbank, Scarboro Pond and Franklin Field at Franklin Park, Jamaica Pond, Gibson Play-ground, Strandway Play-ground, Charles-town Play-ground, Roslindale Play-ground, and Billings Field at Dorchester. The ice is very good at the North Brighton Play-ground, and fair at the Columbus Avenue Play-ground and the cleared part of Spy Pond. There is no skating on Hammond's Pond at Chestnut Hill, Mystic Lake or the Winchester Reservoir...
