Nothing is more difficult to write than drama. Mr. Sheldon has avoided part of his task, in using the quick, easy, and inconclusive stop of suicide, but up to the point where he thus drops an unfinished situation his workmanship in this most trying field is admirable. This is a case, I imagine, of decided gifts waiting for material on which to work. Travel papers are not a favorable form in which to reveal what is special to the writer. ...April recess, and matches are now being arranged with the various golf clubs of Massachusetts. It is also probable that a match will be arranged with Dartmouth, possibly on April 27, the date of the baseball game with Dartmouth. The interclass matches will be held in the latter part of May, when the tournament for the University championship will also be played. The University crew has undergone a number of changes, and yesterday Lunt was put in at 2 in place of Fish, who stroked the second eight. The boat now sets more evenly than during the first part of the week, but there is still a tendency to lag at the catch and to rush the slide. Fish showed up remarkably well at stroke in the second crew. The weak point seems to be at the full reach, where the men tend to work individually rather than together...

...granolithic floors have been laid on the whole of the second and third stories, and the greater part of the ground floor. The heating apparatus has been installed, and the plastering is completed throughout the building. Most of the wood work, including the doors and window frames, is now in place and is being stained and varnished. The boat rests are also set up; and, on the river side, the glass in the windows and doors is in place. The lockers, which are to be of iron, will be installed within a few days...
