Lacrosse started off finely in the first part of the season, and for a time it seemed as though Yale would be able to enter the league this year. From the fifty that at first practiced daily at Hamilton Park, the number of players decreased to fifteen. But the best players were the ones to continue in practice, and a lacrosse twelve of a good deal of merit was organized.
