Arriving at the bottom of the hill he came to a bridge through which he had to pass, but when he saw a team of horses coming toward him he endeavored to avoid a collision. The result was that he was thrown a distance of 20 or 30 feet, where he was suspended by his clothing catching on to a pin of the bridge...
