During the past few days Harvard has been signally honored by the presence within her walls of Sir Edwin Arnold, so well known to all cultured people as the author of "The Light of Asia." Mr. Arnold is the guest of President Eliot, and by the latter's request has very kindly delivered two lectures on topics related to his chosen field of research-on the Upanishad and the Mahabarhata.
