...Astride this machine of terror rides the Harvard student. We all know how mild-mannered and bookish Harvard students usually are, but on top of these behemoths they become pilots of destruction. I glance behind me in apprehension, and find a bike-riding Harvardian screaming down the narrow Yard paths, no doubt late for his or her "Sex" section. They are willing to crush whatever measly pedestrian dares poke along their path...

...taken the T to the movie theater, but the Fresh Pond running path remains a hidden treasure. The paved path circumnavigates the aptly named Fresh Pond (go figure), and is only about 2 miles from Harvard. Every Saturday morning the course hosts a race (FREE to enter!) with the choice of 1 lap (2.5 miles) or 2 laps. Runners of all levels participate, although notable national champs have made surprise appearances...

...obvious choice according to my family. But that wasn't quite right, either. The next place to look was Dunster Street. I had heard miracles of philosophy majors working in financial services, having outstanding learning experiences, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I figured the Harvard path to least resistance couldn't be bad. OCS had an impressive recruiting program, representing outstanding firms that were actually interested in us inexperienced undergraduates. But, although I was told it would be easy to get a job with little or no financial experience, I didn't get any offers...
