Last week Tokle once again tackled Bear Mountain, where he figures the maximum safe jump is 160 ft. Going all out against two crack Finnish entries, he soared an estimated 162 ft., then swerved sharply and tore a ligament in his right ankle. But even with the patriarch of U.S. ski jumping sidelined for a few weeks, the Tokles are still in the business. Arthur Jr., II, has been jumping since he flew 20 ft. at the age of two, is now competing in junior meets. Says Arthur Sr.: "All he needs is practice...

From Family Patriarch Joe Kennedy came the word that Jack had divested himself of all personally held stocks and bonds during the last two months. The proceeds (amount undisclosed) were then invested in state, municipal and Government bonds to avoid financial conflict of interest. The President-elect is also the beneficiary of three irrevocable trust funds set up for the Kennedy children in 1926, 1936 and 1949 by their father. But don't worry...

Significant Trivia. Dr. Fisher will arrive in Rome about Dec. 1, after a ten-day trip that will include visits to Greek Orthodox Patriarch Benediktos in Jerusalem and Greek Orthodox Patriarch Athenagoras in Istanbul. The Archbishop of Canterbury plans to stay at Rome's stately Villa della Camilluccia, residence of Britain's Minister to the Holy See. To avoid any awkward moments, the Pope is expected to receive the Archbishop standing, instead of with the customary seated extension of his ring to be kissed. Except for an interpreter, the two bishops will be alone. What they talk about...
