...After blowing a 13-point lead against Cornell the previous week, Harvard nearly blew a 34-3 halftime lead against Fordham, the cellar team in the Patriot League. Led by Wilford, who had 220 yards passing, Patterson, who caught a touchdown pass and returned a punt 55 yards for a touchdown, and Menick, who rushed for 139 yards on 26 carries, Harvard built the seemingly insurmountable lead. Luckily for the Crimson (2-2, 1-1 Ivy), the Rams (0-5, 0-3 Patriot) have been an under-whelming team at best this season. Fordham has averaged only 12 points per game while allowing their opponents 40 points per outing. So it's no surprise that the Rams have started the season winless...

Next weekend, the Crimson will travel to Fordham (0-5, 0-2 Patriot), which lost Saturday 35-18 to Penn and lost two weekends ago to Cornell, 42-14. Fordham barely poses a threat on paper, but Harvard has to shake off two week's worth of disappointing losses...
