Captain Treadway has selected the men who will enter in the Henley Regatta. There are, in all, twenty-two oarsmen and two coxswains. The men who are likely to represent Yale in the regatta are: Stroke, Langford; 7, Treadway, captain; 6, Longacre; 5, Bailey or Patterson; 4, J. Rogers; 3, Beard; 2, Brown, Marsh or Stephen; bow, D. Rodgers. The crew will be a heavy one as the average weight is at present 1771/2 pounds. At least three coaches will accompany the crew. They will probably be R. J. Cook, Dr. Hartwell and Dr. Bolton. ...Stewards cup is important and will undoubtedly receive careful consideration by the boating authorities here before the whole matter is referred to the university for final ratification which will probably be done withing two weeks.
