...Patterson: No, I don't think that invading is ever justified but I do think that America has a right as a major power to secure islands that are vulnerable from an American point of view. I say this as an American resident but I also see this from the point of view from the Caribbean. The two points of views are somewhat different. Cohen: In many respects, I agree with what Professor Patterson says, but the issue here is what happened after Bishop was depend and killed.
