Death Reported. Ana Rabinsohn Pau-ker, 65, longtime Communist matriarch, who as Foreign Minister ran Red Rumania from 1947 until her downgrading to a minor job in 1952; of cancer; in Bucharest. After joining the Communists in 1921, the Bucharest-born Jewess spent 15 years in and out of Rumania and jail before going to the Soviet Union.
