Holden Chapel was well filled last evening by members of the St. Paul's Society. The meeting was conducted by the Rev. Phillips Brooks, who, after a short address explaining the purpose of the meeting, introduced Mr. Endicott Peabody, principal of the Groton school. Mr. Peabody spoke of the manner in which Harvard is looked upon by those not connected with the university. ...audience which crowded Appleton Chapel to its fullest capacity yesterday afternoon had a rare musical treat. The Harvest Cantata, composed by Garrett, with words selected and written by Dr. Waller, was sung by the choirs of Appleton chapel and St. Paul's church, Boston. After a short service conducted by the Rev. F. G. Peabody, the organist introduced the Cantata with a magnificent rendering of the Hallelujah chorus from Beethoven's Mount of Olives.
