Yale should never cease to be thankful for its well constructed and equipped infirmary, whose practicability is being demonstrated with every patient who enters it. The University has tried to establish funds for erecting a pavilion or ward for contagious diseases, in connection with it, but adjacent residents are opposing the plan, and the city has stopped further preparation for the present, asserting that such diseases should be cared for in the special wards of the public hospital.
